Elizabeth "Liz" Childs, 74 of Tuttle left her earthly home on Aug. 29, 2004.
She was born in Boston, Mass. to Rebecca and Henri Marceau of Philadelphia, on Sept. 10, 1929.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband of almost 51 years, Frank Engle Childs III.
After retiring as the Office Manager of South Jersey Radiology Center in Cherry Hill, N.J., she and her husband Frank moved to Tuttle.
Liz loved to travel, visit with friends back east and vacation at one of her favorite places, the Jersey shore.
She enjoyed feeding her birds and loved her cat, Pumpkin.
She was a whiz at crossword puzzles and as an avid sports fan you could find her cheering on her grandchildren who play for Bridge Creek and Tuttle Schools.
Liz will be greatly missed by her surviving children, Peggy Oberfield and son-in-law Don and David Childs and daughter-in-law Pat of Tuttle, her grandchildren August and Chad Kinder of Edmond, Tim and Kristin Hicks of Lake Placid, Florida, Austin Childs and Rebecca and David Oberfield.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Snow Hill Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
