Gilbert Cheromiah was born September 17, 1934 in Paguate, New Mexico. He passed away February 10, 2013 in Guthrie, Oklahoma at at the age of 78 years.
Survivors include, three daughters, Claudia Towns of Stillwater, OK, Janelle Lowell of New Mexico, and Jennifer Martinez of Enid, OK; one son, Gilbert Cheromiah, Jr. of Atoka, OK; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Laverne.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Crescent with Rev. Edwin House officiating. Burial will be on the Laguna Reservation in New Mexico. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
