Charla "Nicole" Cheatwood

Charla “Nicole” Cheatwood, age 30 of Norman, passed away Thursday February 26, 2015. Nicole was born April 17, 1984 in Norman, OK. Her parents were Charles Clinton Cheatwood and Jessica Raylene (Howe) Cheatwood.

Nicole was raised primarily in Purcell where she began school, later graduating from Lexington High School in 2002. Nicole worked as a proof reader for the Purcell Register and also was one of the bubbly waitress’ that served so many at the Rusty Knot with that perfect smile on her face. Nicole was very creative and a gifted artist. She loved music and never let go of an opportunity to pen something, as she wrote much poetry. She was a kindred spirit who never knew a stranger. Her greatest joy in life was her daughter, Avery and she brought her much happiness. Nicole Cheatwood was a bright soul and showed loved and compassion to everyone she met putting others always above herself.

She was preceded in death by: Her father,Clint Cheatwood, parental grandparents, JC and Edna Cheatwood. maternal grandmother, Hazel Lewis and great grandmother, Bonnie Warren.

Nicole leaves behind: Her daughter, Avery of the home, and Avery’s father, Michael McWhirter. Her mother and Partner, Jessica Cheatwood and Diana Elliott of Norman; Her siblings, Jamie Cormany and husband Bryan of Lexington Amanda Cheatwood and husband Justin Damman of Noble Paul Cheatwood and wife Julie of Purcell Michael Cheatwood and wife Janet of Purcell Rebecca Mott and husband Daniel Mott Jr. of New York Angela Hines and husband Jessie of Paoli Jerimy Lam and wife Rachel of Tecumseh Many nieces and nephews who knew and loved her as Aunt Rah-Rah, and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel.
