Roy Dean Chase, 48, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Blanchard. The son of Dean Wayne Chase and Willa Eileen (Bullard) Chase, he was born on September 21, 1974, in La Junta, Colorado.
He married Cindy (Gates) Chase on May 26, 2006, in Jasper, Alabama. They have two sons, Ayden and Austin.
Roy grew up in Lamar, Colorado and joined the United States Navy after graduating high school. He was a navy trained machinist and used those skills throughout most of his life, afterwards. Roy also drove a truck for a while.
Roy loved being with family and friends. He enjoyed working for Warren CAT and especially liked finding solutions for the repairs of the machinery. Roy loved going to Ayden and Austin’s activities. He was looking forward to watching Ayden in the marching band and playing soccer, as well as seeing Austin playing football, basketball, and soccer. Roy loved to watch Alabama football and the Denver Broncos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Willa Chase.
Roy is survived by his wife, Cindy Chase of Blanchard; sons, Ayden Chase and Austin Chase; sister, Sharon San Miguel and her husband, Frank San Miguel of Amarillo, Texas; niece, Marissa San Miguel or Amarillo, Texas; and many more loving family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 8, 2023, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard, Oklahoma.
