Ronald Gene Chandler
February 10, 1948 ~ November 8, 2018

Ronald Gene Chandler, 70, husband of Linda Chandler of Broken Arrow, Okla., after a short illness, passed peacefully from this earth on Thursday November 8, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. at St John Hospital in Tulsa, Okla.

Ron was born Feb. 10, 1948 in Sayre Okla. to J.M. Chandler Jr. and Juanita Nadine Chandler.

Ron attended high school in Midwest City, Okla. He went to Murray State College in Tishomingo, to play football. While attending Murray, he met the love of his life, Linda Hamilton. They married in 1967, and had two sons, Jeff and Brad. Ron worked for Ameristar Fence Products in Tulsa for over twenty years and was proud of the fact that he started on the ground floor and upon retirement was managing multiple departments and over 100 employees. Ron retired from Ameristar in 2014, and played golf 5 days a week up until he fell ill. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life.

Ron is survived by Linda his wife of 50 years, of the home, his sons, Jeff of Broken Arrow, Ok, and Brad and wife Jennifer of Owasso, Ok., two granddaughters, Henley and Sutton of Owasso. He is also survived by three sisters, Jackie Stephens, LaCretia Neunreiter, Carolin Hunt, and his brother and closest friend Mike Chandler, and several nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Nadine Chandler.

Services for Ron will be held in Broken Arrow at Floral Haven Funeral home on 11/16/2018 at 11 AM as well as a final memorial service at Clark Funeral home in Tishomingo, Ok. On 11/17/2018 at 2PM.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ron's name to the American Cancer Society.
