Roland Wayne Chaffin, 62, of Bethel Acres, Oklahoma passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was born on September 22, 1960 in Norfolk, Virginia to Kenneth and Lillie (Scott) Chaffin.
Roland was raised in southeastern Oklahoma. He attended school at Atoka High school. He earned his associate degree from OSU-OKC. Roland has lived in the Bethel Acres area for the last 30 years.
He married Brenda Ann Pinion on November 4, 1988 in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma.
Roland owned and operated First in Refrigeration service Technology Inc. in Bethel Acres and Twin Lakes Archery.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snake wrangling, archery, gun smithing and anything outdoors.
He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Andrew Chaffin; his father, Kenneth Lee Chaffin; and one brother Kenneth (Kenny) Lee Chaffin Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Brenda Chaffin of the home; two children, Brianna Lynn Chaffin and Jeramie Wayne Chaffin (Miranda); four grandchildren, Cheyenne Chaffin, Mackenzie Chaffin, Lillyann Tabor and Andrew Lindsey; his mother, Lil Belle Chaffin of Atoka; one sister, Donna Sue Chaffin; two brothers, Ronald Chaffin (Carol) and Scott Chaffin; numerous nieces, nephews; other extended family and countless friends that he considered family.
Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joey Lansdale, Stringtown Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
