Ronald Gene Caviness
December 4, 1946 ~ April 16, 2017

Ronald Gene Caviness, son of James Arthur and Alyene Faye (Sisco) Caviness was born December 4, 1946 in Prairie Grove, AR, and departed this life on April 16, 2017 in Fayetteville, AR at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 8 days.

He worked as a teacher in Tunis, MO for 4 years and Maryetta Public School for 28 years to provide for his family. He loved fishing, boating, camping, cars, making knives and had a great love for his dog Gus. One of his favorite things though was to spend time with his family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; James and Alyene Caviness and wife; Millie Caviness.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his children; Kelli Littlejohn and husband Ronnie of Stilwell, OK, Michael Caviness and wife Pat of Westville, OK, Jim Standifer and fiancé Darla Johnson of Midwest City, OK, grandchildren; Chad and Chase Littlejohn of Stilwell, OK, Dustin Caviness of Westville, OK. Sister; Janice Boen and husband Mick of Denton, TX, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Visitation was held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 1-4 pm. Services were entrusted to Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
