Linda was born on November 20, 1948, in Blackwell, OK, to Clifford Elwood and Carol Jean (Wassom) Sneath. Linda attended Nardin Schools through the 8th grade, then attended Blackwell schools, where she graduated in 1967. She also attended Patricia Stevens Finishing School, graduating in 1968. She then went to work at Conoco, Inc. in July 1968. While at Conoco, Linda met Jim and she knew immediately that she was going to marry him. Those who knew Linda know once she has a plan, it happens. Linda married Jim on April 4, 1969, at the Nardin United Methodist Church in Nardin, OK. . They lived a beautiful life of 52 years together. They had two children, Tim Caudle and Lisa Caudle.
Linda was an active member of Northeast Baptist Church. She loved singing in the choir at church, Singing with the Singing Church Women of Oklahoma, singing “O Holy Night” every Christmas for many, many years, and today singing with the Angels.
By far Linda‘s greatest accomplishment and title was that of “Mamo”. Linda LIVED for her four babies: Berkeley - 18, Adler - 15, Greer - 7, Barron - 2. There wasn’t a day that went by she wasn’t bragging on them in some form, and in return her baby babies adored their Mamo!
She is survived by: her husband, Jim, of the home; son, Tim Caudle and his wife, Teri, of Moore, OK; daughter, Lisa Bressman and her husband, Craig, of McKinney, TX; 4 grandchildren; mother, Carol Sneath, of Ponca City, OK; sister, Patty Weber, of Bartlesville, OK; brother, Larry Sneath and his wife, Camille, of Ponca City, OK.
