Keith Angus Catto Jr.

Keith Angus Catto Jr.
March 9, 1924 ~ April 23, 2015 (age 91)

Keith A. Catto, Jr. died April 23, 2015 in Norman, OK.

The son of Melba Wiley Catto and Keith Angus Catto, Sr. was born in Plainview, TX. He completed grade school at Hooper School in that area. He graduated from Jonesboro, Arkansas High School in 1942. After working in the Vancouver, WA Kaiser Shipyards. He completed his B.S. and M.S. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1955. After graduation, he was employed as an Analytical Chemist at Halliburton Co. at Duncan, OK until 1982. A similar position was held at the Oklahoma Geological Survey in Norman until his retirement in 1990. He was an emeritus member of the American Chemical Society and the Royal Chemical Society (London).

Keith was an active member of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Duncan. In Norman, he was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Melba Joan; and brother-in-law, James Allen King.
Survivors include his sister, Florence Nightingale King of Littleton, CO and many cousins.

A memorial service for Keith will be 2PM Monday, May 4, 2015 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church. Graveside services for the interment of ashes at the Farmington Ark. Cemetery will be conducted by ST. Paul's Episcopal Church of Fayetteville, AR.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church or Food and Shelter for Friends.
