Memorial services for Robert Eugene Cates, 53, of Tulsa, were held Monday, April 11, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Mr. Phillip Johnson officiated

Robert was born September 1, 1957 in Tulsa, OK to Robert Cecil and Roxie Lucille (Martin) Cates. He passed away April 6, 2011 in Tulsa, OK.

Most People called him Eugene or Gene. He worked as a machinist for many years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sisters, Teresa Pierce, Jeana Schwartz, and Sylvia Cates; nieces, Alycia Pierce and Jennifer Pierce; nephews, Jacob Schwartz and Jordan Schwartz; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Roxie Cates.
