His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Herlinda Figueroa and Mary Ortega; and four brothers, Albert, Louis, Elias, and Moses Castro.

Joe is survived by three daughters, Mary Anderson and her husband, Terry, of Edmond, Diana Rogers and her husband, Willard, of Yukon, and Rose Johnston of Hugo, Colorado; one son, Frank Castro of Noble; five grandchildren, Ashley Page and her husband, Kody, of Edmond, Jay Lundy of Los Angeles, California, Cassie Secrest and her husband, Scott, of Houston, Texas, Matthew Rogers and his wife, Mariela, of Edmond, and Briauna Castro of Noble; two great granddaughters, Lela and Ava Page of Edmond; two sisters, Abbie Robles of Del Rio, Texas, and Rosa Castro of San Antonio, Texas; and many other loved ones and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Joe's caregiver, Thelma, and her family for taking such good care of him. A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date.
