Jack Casto of Stillwater passed away Friday, May 23 from Pneumonia, and other complications.
Jack was born in 1931 in Dewey, Oklahoma. His parents were John and Hazel Casto. Jack grew up in the Dewey and Copan Oklahoma area. He married his High School sweetheart, Joann in December of 1949, and they were married for 68 years.
Jack was a veteran, and served in the U.S. army in the early 1950’s. He worked for Phillips Petroleum his entire career. His time with them included management assignments in the U.S., Central America, North Africa, and Norway. He finished his career in 1986 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Jack was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Bartlesville, where he served in numerous roles, including Deacon, member of the Personnel Committee, and Director of his Sunday School class. In recent years Jack attended Stillwater First Baptist Church. Jack enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and loved the outdoors and fishing.
Jack is survived by his sister Billie, his son Jeff and his wife Annette, his son Jason and his wife Krysten, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
