Services honoring the life of Larry Castner will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel.

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Larry Castner, 72, of Enid, formerly of Indiana, will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday January 6, 2022, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chape. Burial will follow in the East Springfield Cemetery, LaGrange, Indiana.
Larry was born September 21, 1949, to Charles and Arvilla Castner, in Auburn, Indiana and passed from this life December 30, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Auburn and at the age of seventeen he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, he received his GED while serving in the Marines and served two tours in Vietnam. He then joined the United States Navy and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He was honorably discharged after eighteen years of service to his country on January 24, 1985, in Jacksonville, Florida. He then began working for Union Pacific as a Long-Haul Truck driver for many years in Florida and Indiana. He recently moved to Enid to be with his family.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and the casino. He loved spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren. He was onery, but always willing to help anyone out.
He is survived by his son John and wife Michelle Castner; grandchildren, Blair, Helena, Hunter, and Morgan, of Enid, Oklahoma; sisters, Deborah Castner, of Pleasant Lake, Indiana, and Shelly Castner, of Angola, Indiana; brothers, Jerry and Danny Castner, of Angola, Indiana, and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sherry Castner; brother, Mark Castner, and one grandson, Russell Castner.
