Rita Castle was born September 6, 1938, in Providence, Rhode Island to Josephine and Amoto DiPaolo and passed away December 14, 1998 in the St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 8 days.
Rita spent her early life in Rhode Island. She moved to California when she worked as an accountant at Edwards Air Force Base until her retirement.
She married William "Bill" Castle on August 27, 1988 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The couple relocated in the Cheyenne community in 1991 where they made their home.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her husband William "Bill" Castle of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one daughter, Dawn Lewis of Buckeye, Arizona; one son, William Wikstrom, Jr. of Hinesville, Georgia; three step daughters, Angie Castle of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Penny Castle of Iowa; Dorothy Castle of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; one brother Lee DiPaolo of Ranchia, California; two sisters, Norma Taubman of Barrington, Rhode Island; Diana McIntosh of Edmond, Washington; mother Josephine DePaolo of Providence, Rhode Island; many other relatives and a host of friends.
Mrs. Castle's services were held Thursday, December 17, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rose Chapel in Sayre, Oklahoma.
Services followed by cremation and there were no graveside rites.
