Janet Lee Casselberry passed away on Tuesday, April 17, at the age of 67. She was born July 13, 1950, in Seymour, Texas, to Kenneth Dean and Louise (Ellison) Casselberry.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, April 27, at 10:00 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terra Sisco, pastor of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Marlow, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Janet graduated from Seymour High School and attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville. She was the vice president of Duncan Savings & Loan until 1990. She then sold real estate, working for Vic Whitney for 23 years and then Bridges Real Estate where she was currently employed. She loved nature and living at the lake. She loved her cats and her parrot, Ollie.

Janet is survived by her longtime companion, Denise Beck, and was actively involved in helping to raise Denise's daughter, Lori. Family members include Lori Lang, her husband Matt, and children, of Purcell; Barbara Bauman of Duncan; Debra and Artie Bryant of Duncan; Scott and Valerie Bryant and sons of Tom's River, New Jersey; sister, Lana Stewart and husband Bill of Wichita Falls, Texas; brother, Dan Casselberry of Pennington, New Jersey; niece, Cassie Skelton and husband Johnny and sons of Wichita Falls; very special friends, Darren and Jana Bridges and her family of realtors at Bridges Realty, Dana Stanley, Shawn Lyles, Bob Bentley, Dr. Michael Paul and Lisa Hudson, and Karla Griffin, all of Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

All attending Janet's memorial service are encouraged to dress casual and comfortable. That's the way she would have wanted it.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's name to Chisholm Trail Hospice or to the Stephens County Humane Society.

Online condolences may be made to the family at www.whittfh.com.
