Martin LeRoy Casey, age 67 of Pawnee formerly of Oilton, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Stillwater Medical Center, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday at the First Assembly of God in Yale.� Brother Randall Newby will officiate.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton.
LeRoy was born on September 26, 1943 in Oilton to the late George H. and Natalie Allshouse Casey.
He grew up in Oilton, graduating from Oilton High School in 1961.
As a child, he attended Freewill Baptist Church.
LeRoy entered the U.S. Navy in 1961, serving his country during the Vietnam era as a Firefighter and MP.
He married Donna Nasalroad in 1962 and two daughters were born.� They built a home near Yale and lived there for over 25 years.
After returning home from the service, LeRoy worked at North American Rockwell in Tulsa on one of the first space shuttles. He began working for NTL as a boiler maker and later drove a truck for Sparks Enterprise/Roadrunner Trucking for a number of years.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and putting together model cars.
LeRoy loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and many friends.
LeRoy is survived by his daughters, Chrystal Casey of Pawnee; Paula Pierce and husband Eugene of Yale; brothers, Frank Casey and wife Carma of Oilton; John Casey of Oilton; and four grandchildren Tanner Eugene, Trevor Martin, Ashleigh and Brittny Pierce.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
