Darrell "Doug" Jefferson Casey, born on December 2, 1952, in Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 72 years old at the time of his death, leaving behind a legacy marked by both his professional achievements and personal passions.
Doug devoted most of his life to his career an electrical engineer, where he contributed significantly to his field through both innovation and mentorship. His expertise and commitment to excellence earned him the respect of colleagues and peers.
Beyond his professional life, Doug was known for his warm heart and vibrant personality. He cherished the time he spent with friends, often gathering with them to share stories and laughter. An enthusiast of adventure, Doug enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, finding joy in the open road and the freedom it provided. Doug is survived by his sisters, Patricia Stafford of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Linda Combs of Amarillo, Texas. He is also remembered fondly by many other relatives and dear friends who were lucky enough to know him and share in his journey.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and June (Bible) Casey.
