Louis Corbin Case

Sept. 26, 1945 ~ November 25, 2014

Louis Corbin, son of Ethel (Robinson) and Brenton Case was born in Cherokee, Oklahoma, on Sept. 26, 1945. He passed away at his home near Medford on the 25th of November at the age of 69 years, one month and 30 days.

He graduated from Cherokee High School with the class of 1963. He received his bachelors degree from Northwestern State University and some time later receiving his masters and doctorate degrees in Kansas.

He was drafted on Dec. 3, 1968, and received an honorable discharge on Sept. 3, 1970.

Louis taught school at Centrailia, Kansas, then moved to Eskridge, Kansas, where he ranched. In 1995 he retired and moved to the Medford area. He did some tutoring in the Enid area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He is survived by one brother, Bruce Case, and a sister-in-law, Melva Case of Enid; one niece and two nephews and other relatives and friends.

Louis was cremated at his own request.
