Kevin Lynn Case, former Cushing resident and businessman, passed away on January 23, 2012 at the beautiful country home of dear friends, Gary Blair and Peggy Robinson, with his family by his side.
Kevin was born on July 25, 1957 in Drumright, OK to loving parents, Pansy Christine 'Stevens' and Gail Harold Case. He was raised in the country and attended Oak Grove School throughout his elementary years.
With his father being in the printing business for years, managing the businesses of Nu Art Printers in Drumright to Frontier Printers in Stillwater, the family moved closer to his father's work to Cushing in 1971.
Kevin graduated from Cushing High School in 1975. He attended Drumright Central Vo-Tech where he received his welding schooling and worked as a boiler maker welder throughout the country.
He was married to Pamela Jo Brinker on June 18, 1977 and fathered two children, Jonathan Lynn and Jodi Lea. He went to work for Martin Signs in 1990 and purchased the business in 1991. He owned and operated the business until 2001, when he went to work at Irwin Signs in Stillwater until 2003. He then relocated to Lawton, working as a sales manger for Arrow Signs.
Kevin enjoyed the outdoors, his family and his grandkids.
Survivors include his partner, Shelly Hobson, of their home in Duncan; his children, Jonathan Case of Cushing and Jodi Sanders and her husband Brian of Coweta, OK; stepdaughter, Jennifer Timmins and her husband Dustin of Duncan; two grandchildren, Kennedie Sanders of Coweta, OK and Blaiden Timmins of Duncan; two sisters, Denise Chesmore and her husband Harvey of Vici, OK and Crystal Daves and her husband Rodney of Pleasant View, CO; nieces, Kara Pence and her husband Shawn, Misty Gregory and her husband Greg and Tiffany Hartsoe and her husband Jason; nephew, Jarrett Daves. Also, many loving aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends that stayed close to him throughout his life.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Pansy Case; grandparents, Johnny and Juanita Case, Joseph Stevens and Pauline and Joe Cranke and uncles, Kenneth Case, Glenn Case, Hershal Greenfield and Kenneth and Nellie Stevens.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11 A.M. in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Cushing with Brother Randall Wright and Brother Randy Herring officiating.
The family will greet friends on Friday evening in the Floyd Family Center, east of the funeral home, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the Case family has set up a fund at the Davis Funeral Home.
