Juanita Marie "Nitzee" (Schroeder) Case
June 30, 1943 ~ April 5, 2022

Juanita, known as Nitzee, Marie Case was born to Neal and Esther Marie (Classen) Schroeder on June 30, 1943, in Fairview, OK, and died on April 5, 2022.

Juanita graduated from Cleo Springs High School in 1961 as valedictorian and completed Draughon's school of business after high school. Juanita married Larry Case on March 16, 1963. They started married life in Aline, OK. Together they began the Fairview Auto Salvage in 1973. Cleo Springs became their home in 1976.

Juanita served as secretary of Aline-Cleo schools from 1973-1986. From 1986-present she was employed/worked at Fairview Auto Salvage. She was a longtime member of Cleo Springs Nazarene Church and joined in 1956. She served as pianist and organist. She played instruments by ear. She was a member of the Nazarene Women's missionary society, taught Sunday school, and was a song leader for VBS. Her social life revolved around her family and her church family. The trips and outings of her Sunday school class were a highlight of every month.

Juanita is survived by her children: son, Troy Case and daughter in law Tina Case, and her daughter, Cynthia Griffith; grandchildren Michael Case, Brandon Case, Kiera Case, Kaycee Griffith, and Kelli Griffith; siblings Joyce Newton and brother in law Clark Newton of Cleo, brother Virgil Schroeder of Yukon, sister in law Connie Schroeder of Cleo, and sister in law Jo Litterell of Alva. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Larry Case; her parents Neal and Marie Schroeder; brother Ray Lee (Fritz) Schroeder; and sister in law Jolene Schroeder.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Cleo Springs Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jim Burgraff officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Clark Newton, Carl Kehn, Ray Harder, Eugene Sloan, George Frickel, and Chuck McKinney. Memorial donations may be made to the Cleo Springs Church of the Nazarene with the funeral home serving as custodian at P.O. Box 15, Fairview, OK 73737.
