Jack Case

July 31, 1927 ~ April 1, 2002

Jack Case, 74, died Monday, April 1, 2002, in Lockney.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Church of Christ in Matador with Michael Crowley officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey by Seigler Funeral Home.

Mr. Case was born July 31, 1927, in Hall County. He graduated from Turkey High School in 1945 and served with the Navy during World War II. He married Jeanette Barnhill on May 11, 1948, in Turkey.

He was a former resident of Turkey, Amarillo and Hereford prior to moving to Matador about six years ago. He was a retired banker and had also operated a fuel distributorship and farm interests. He was a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Harvey Case of Houston and Ross Case of Galveston; a daughter, Sally Case of San Francisco; two brothers, O.E. Case and Bob Case, both of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Juanita Eudy of Midland, Wilmuth Tutor of Lubbock and Frances "Tootsie" Mullin of Turkey; and a granddaughter.
