Juan Carlos Casas
December 17, 1963 ~ February 16, 2025

Juan Carlos Casas of Collinsville, OK passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the age of 61. Juan was born on December 17, 1963, to Manuel Perales and Mary Agnes (Davis) Casas in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Harlingen, TX. Juan moved to Southern California in 1985 to pursue his dream of becoming a rockstar, as music was his passion. If you were to ask anyone that heard him play, they would say he was an amazing guitarist.

Juan met his wife Margaret in 1994, and they welcomed their daughter, Marlaina, in 1996. Juan worked as a dog groomer for a couple of years before starting his career as a refinery technician at the largest oil refinery in Southern California. Juan advanced to head operator prior to retiring after 25 years. After retiring Juan moved in with his father-in-law and cared for him until his passing. In early 2024, Juan joined his wife and daughter in Collinsville, OK to be closer to family. After moving to Collinsville, Juan became a bus driver for the Owasso Public School District.

Besides playing guitar, Juan enjoyed taking roadtrips, going to the movies and watching local high school football games. His pride and joy though, was his daughter Marlaina. Juan had a great love for his family and loved being a Papa to his five granddaughters. Juan will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Juan is survived by his wife Margaret Kennedy-Ross; daughters, Marlaina Casas, Ashley Worrall and Jamie Wood; siblings, Maria Elaina Campbell and husband Ron, Marie Cristina Donihoo and husband Larry W., Marie Margarita Cortez and husband Edward, and Maria Fidela Davis and husband Timothy; sister-in-law, Gracie Casas; 6 grandchildren, Alexia Elise Worrall, Astra June Worrall, first expected grandson Asher Andrew Charles Worrall, Kaylin Lorraine Wood, Addison Louise Wood, and Zedilise Marlie Wood; nieces and nephews, Michelle Brown, Catherine Casas, Jenny Muniz, Cristi Davila, Shannon Christman, Steven Casas, Paul Brown, Richard Casas, Tony Casas, Johnny Casas, Brian Casas, David Casas, Tony Torres, Henry Torres, and Chris Torres; and a host of extended family and friends.
