Ott Casady

Sep 23, 1874 ~ Aug 08, 1957

Ott Casady passed away in Cody, Wyoming last Wednesday. He was a brother of John Casady and Mrs. Mollie Herring of Cheyenne.

In the early days Ott spent some time in Roger Mills County working on ranches. Later he begcame a professional "dude wrangler' and had been employed at the Valley Ranch, near Cody, for more than thirty years. As a typical American cowboy, Ott was feature in Life magazine with pictures and a story of several pages, a few years ago.

Ott is survived by his wife, Florence Casady, and a son Temple Casady. Temple attended school in Cheyenne, graduating with the Class of 1926. At the present time he employed as a linotypist in Dallas, Texas.
