Brenda Kay Carver, 59, passed away peacefully in her home in Canton, Oklahoma, on February 7th, 2026. She was born on June 13th, 1966 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she lived most of her life.
Brenda was kind, devoted, hard working, and passionate. She was a woman who gave her love freely and wholeheartedly. Family was the center of her world, and she showed her care in quiet, meaningful ways that left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.
Her greatest joy was being an Oma to her grandbabies. That role filled her heart completely, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her love as an Oma was steady, joyful, and unconditional.
In Brenda’s working career, she was a bus driver for approximately 12 years, she loved her coworkers and those kids like they were her own family. Outside of work Brenda loved crafting, her cats, coloring, watching NASCAR, birds, and paternity court. Above all she loved spending time with friends and family.
Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Krista (31) and Kathleen (29); her grandchildren, Temperance (17), Zander (6), Sheamus (4), Zeeke (4), and Kaida (2); her sister, Sheryl Kilby; her nieces Jessica, Mikka, April, Amanda; and her beloved stepsons Joshua and Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her mother Kathleen Boatwright, her sister Jeanny Smith, and her father Robert Boatwright.
Though her absence is deeply felt, Brenda’s love remains a guiding presence, woven into the lives of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
