Jason Fargo Carter, 42 of Perry passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Perry. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
Jason was born February 9, 1979 in Drumright, Oklahoma to Larry Junior Carter and Karen Sue Weaver. He grew up in the Jennings/Perry communities. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping, going muddin on his four wheeler, and spending time with his family. He was always know to be a “cut-up” and full of laughter. He and Lynssey Brien were married on October 23, 2016 in Perry. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Lynnsey Carter of the home; four children, Ekko Arnold of Perry, Oklahoma, Christina Carter, Caleb Carter, and Mikyala Carter all of Covington, Oklahoma; his mother, Karen Blackford of Jennings, Oklahoma; three brothers, Brian Carter and Jamie Lynn of Wellston, Oklahoma, Sam Carter and wife Brandie of Perry, Oklahoma, and David Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Jaszmond Blackford of Jennings, Oklahoma, and Sonya Kelley of Lawton, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, August Arnold, and Victoria Arnold. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry; and one sister, Alicia Carter.
A Celebration of Jason’s life will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 2PM at the First Christian Church in Perry with pastor Josh Bell officiating.
