JoWanna Dee (Shelton) Carter
June 19, 1962 ~ June 23, 2022

JoWanna was born in Wichita, Kansas on June 19, 1962 to Marvin Ray Shelton, Sr. & Angela Mae (Thouchatt) Shelton. She passed from this life in Tulsa on June 23, 2022 at the age of 60 years & 4 days.

JoWanna attended the Drumright Schools & has lived the majority of her life in Creek – Payne - & Pawnee Counties. She has made rural Drumright her home for the past 6 years & had worked at several convenience stores, including Whistle Stop, In & Out, & Food Mart.

She was preceded in death by her Father: Marvin Shelton, Sr.; & a Sister: Becky Anderson.

She is survived by 2 Sons: Dylan Grier & Shannon Grier, both of Cushing; her Mother & Stepfather: Angela & Eddie Clemons of Cushing; her Spouse: Dave Lewis of Cushing; Brother: Marvin Shelton, Jr. of Drumright; Sister: Janice Wadley & husband Tony of Sapulpa; & numerous other family members & friends.
