Connie (White) Carter
March 23, 1949 ~ April 21, 2018

Connie Carter, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, left this life and joined her Savior on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the age of 69. She was born on March 23, 1949 in Fullerton, California to Bill and Louise (Porter) White. Connie married Thomas E. Carter in Slidell, Louisiana on August 25, 1967.

Connie loved her church family at the Grace Baptist Church, she always enjoyed church activities. She was a realtor for Bryan Appraisal, and a credentialist for YCO. Connie had a servant’s heart and enjoyed serving others at Family Feeding Families. She liked to travel, crocheting, boating, jeeping, and watching the Saints play football. Connie cherished her family, and always looked forward to their time together.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her father, Bill White of Monticello, Arkansas; son, Bryan Carter and wife Rachel of Little Elm, Texas; daughter, Nicole Kroboth of Elgin, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Cody Ames and wife Nicole of Little Elm, Texas, Tanner Ames and wife Merissa of Lewisville, Texas, Darah Carter of Durant, Oklahoma, and Bladen Jones of Elgin, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Brody Ames of Little Elm, Texas, Easton Ames of Little Elm, Texas, Blakely Ames of Little Elm, Texas, and Emery Ames of Lewisville, Texas; sister, Barbara Morgan and husband Robert of Monticello, Arkansas; brother, Jerry White and wife Tish of McGehee, Arkansas.

Family hour will be from 7-8:00 PM Friday April 27th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A church service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday April 28th at the Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 AM on April 30th at the DFW National Cemetery in Arlington, Texas, the pallbearers will be Branch Hague, Cody Ames, Dennis Houx, Tanner Ames, Bladen Jones and CJ Smith.
