Scotty Owen Carsten
January 4, 1973 ~ December 22, 2019

Scotty, 46, was peacefully called to heaven December 22, 2019, while at his home. Known to his wife as "Growly Bear," Scotty was born January 4, 1973, in Wichita, KS, to David Carsten and Linda Grable.

He was a mechanic and found his dream job with Ditch Witch Undercon.

Scotty married the love of his life, Wendy Boyd-Carsten, July 28, 2015. He was blessed with a wife and two bonus children, Adam and Britni. His granddaughter Eleanor (Lil Red) was his world.

Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Grable, and father, David Carsten.

He is survived by his wife Wendy; children, Adam Boyd and Britni (Brent) Houston; granddaughter, Eleanor; sister, Sherry (Dave) Williams; stepfather, Merlin Grable; and all who loved him.

Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at West Side Church of God, Wichita. Memorials for Ellie's education may be made to Wendy Carsten, Bank of Kremlin, 430 S. Oakwood, Enid, OK 73703.
