John Dallas Carson was born on July 30, 1943, in Henryetta, OK to Dallas M. and Margie V. (Six) Carson. John passed away on June 15, 2022, at his home at the age of seventy-eight. John graduated from Bakersfield, CA High School and worked as a Police Officer for three years then worked as a clerk for Santa Fe Costal Railroad for twenty-seven years until his retirement. He married Jo Ann Fite on May 30, 1983, in Las Vegas, NV. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Eagles and Setoma. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood crafting, fishing, and hunting.
John is preceded in death by his parents Dallas and Margie Carson.
John is survived by wife Jo Ann Carson of the home; children Lisa Jeanette Farris of Arvin, CA, John Dallas Carson Jr., and wife Connie of Gallentin, Tn, Obert Dewayne Bennett, and wife Jeanie of Kingston, OK and Sammi Lynn McGreggor and husband James of Showlow, AZ; nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
John was cremated according to his wishes and there are no services planned at this time. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com
