Earl Wayne Carr was born November 15, 1946 in Casa Grande, AZ, the 3rd of 4 children born to Burl Wayne Carr and Erma Mae (O'Harrah) Carr.

At a young age, Earl's parents settled near Purcell. Earl attended Purcell schools, graduating with the Class of 1965. He then attended East Central University in Ada for a time, and it was here that his life changed forever.

Earl answered the call of service to his country and joined the Marine Corps. He served his country proudly during the Vietnam War, and often recalled stories of his time in the Corps. Earl was discharged at Camp Pendleton, CA, and it was here he met Peggy Langford.

They were married and settled in Purcell, where together they raised 3 children, daughter, Shannon and sons, Justin and Russell. Earl took a job in the oil field and worked in many capacities throughout the years. He retired as tool pusher from Nomac Drilling. But Earl longed for the road and he needed to ride, and his love of motorcycles afforded him this freedom. He trekked many a mile of the years. He was a member of both the Freedom Riders and the Patriot Guard and he looked forward to the "Run for the Wall" and other trips. He was a proud American and a true Patriot. Earl loved his family and friends, and he was an especially proud grandfather. Earl was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, Burl and Erma Carr; His sister, Linda Swafford and A brother, Melvin Carr.
