Dennis Glenn Carr
May 23, 1946 ~ June 11, 2021

Dennis Glenn Carr age 75 of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, with his wife and daughter at his side. He was born May 23, 1946, in Oklahoma City to Glenn and Glady Carr. Dennis was a graduate of Midwest City High School and attended business college and Rose State College.

He was a veteran having served in the Army National Guard.

For the majority of his career, he was in transportation driving over the road and local. Dennis and Barbara Anderson-Carr (wife) were avid golfers and loved to travel, spend time with their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, friends and their animals.

Dennis is survived by his childhood sweetheart, Barbara, and wife of 25 years. He is also survived by his daughters, Amy Wilson (Richard), Tammy Sturdivan (Mike), Janet Duncan (Scott); grandchildren Emily Wilson, Reece Wilson and Claire Miller (Brock); great grandchildren Vivian Miller and Lily Miller; and by his siblings Christine Jones and James Carr.

The family would like to express our appreciation for the compassion and care given by Touchmark of Edmond and Life Spring Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Crawford Family Funeral Home at 610 N. W. 178th Street, Edmond, Oklahoma. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
