Billy Ray Carr

Billy Ray Carr
October 27, 1937 ~ July 13, 2016

Billy Ray Carr, son of William K and Georgie Lee (Spickes) Carr, was born October 27, 1937 in Summers, Arkansas and passed from this life July 13, 2016 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 78 years.

He worked in maintenance and as a sheet worker at Cobbs Hatchery for many years. Billy Ray was a well-known and liked member of the community. He made friends easily and was always willing to offer a helping hand when needed.

His parents and an infant daughter preceded him in death.

He is survived by many relatives and friends that include his children: Billy Wayne Carr, Patrick Carr, Teresa Linn, Gregory Clay Carr, brothers: Billy Wayne Carr, John Henry Carr, Rodney Carr, twin sister: Betty Ann Flake, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and his companion: Sharon Kaye Griffith.

Billy Ray will be deeply missed.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Chris Harrison and Jason Ritchie officiating.  Interment services followed at Beaty Cemetery, Lincoln, Arkansas.
