Barbara A. Carper of Owasso, passed away on April 5, 2025 in Owasso, OK surrounded by family. Barbara (87) was born on February 3, 1938 in Okemah, OK to John H. and Viola (Burrows) Peden. After high school, she began her illustrious career and ultimately retired from Southwestern Bell. Barbara and her late husband, Jerry of 65 years, enjoyed a fulfilled life of traveling, boating, lake living and the like. They were active and dedicated members of the Methodist Church of Owasso.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Shelby Jean Nuckols & a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved parents and dedicated husband.
