Mary Evelyn (Wells) Carman

June 10, 1950 ~ July 12, 2018

Mary Evelyn Carman, 68, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her home.

She was born June 10, 1950 to Floyd and Esther Wells in Okemah, Oklahoma.

Mary was raised in Okemah and attended Okemah Public Schools.  In 1988 she moved to Bethel Acres and has lived in the Bethel Acres and Tecumseh areas for the last 30 years.

She worked in Okemah at the Wrangler Plant for 15 years.  Mary later owned and operated a home daycare in Tecumseh called MiMi's Daycare. She most recently worked with her daughter at T-Babe's Tanning Salon in Bethel Acres.

Mary loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She loved going shopping with her sisters and going to the movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Lane Topping; 4 brothers, Howard, Tommy, Dwayne and Floss Wells; and sister, Sharon Wells.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Wesley Topping of Tecumseh, OK; 3 grandchildren, Stormi and Kevin Marlow, Dusty and Chevlyn Topping and John "Tiger" Topping; 4 sisters, Betty and Doyle Earnest of Tulsa, Carolyn and Jerry McAfee of Henryetta, OK, Sue and Fred Miller of Yukon, OK and Pam Abbasi of VA; 2 brothers, Daryl and Joy Wells of Prague, OK and Mike and Linda Wells of Sapulpa, OK; 6 great-grandchildren, Corbin Marlow, Taylor Marlow, Piper Marlow, Stetson Topping, Paisley Topping and Colt Topping; and other loving extended family and friends.
