The services celebrating and honoring the life of Brenda Lee Carlton, 65, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 1, 2023, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with David Brittle officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, life celebration home.

Brenda was born April 13, 1958, to Donald Eugene and Donna Carson Carlton in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life October 25, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Enid attending Pioneer Schools. After school she worked various jobs, florist, health specialist, group homes and in laundry services. She was passionate about all animals, especially horses. Brenda is remembered as a very well-rounded person, artistic, witty, sarcastic, funny, and honest to a fault. She recently moved to Civitan Homes where she enjoyed the community.

She is survived by her siblings Pam Becker and husband Gary, David and Adie Carlton, nieces and nephews, Robin and Greg Eckert, Darin and Andrea Carlton, Evan Howard, and Donald and Becca Howard; and five great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her parents and one sister Sharon Carlton Howard.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Enid SPCA with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
