Laurie Anne Cantu passed from this life on Thursday afternoon February 7, 2019 at her home in Carter, Oklahoma.

Laurie was born August 1, 1957 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to her parents Charles and June (Graham) Roberts.

Laurie grew up in Portland, Oregon but has spent the last 20 years residing in Carter, Oklahoma by her family. In her younger days she enjoyed riding her motor cycle. Laurie enjoyed cooking for her family and watching movies with her sister. She also enjoyed taking care of rescue dogs and her 3 legged cat.

She is survived by 1 daughter: Angela Reeder of Edgewood, Maryland, 1 sister: Connie McComb of Carter, Oklahoma, 1 brother: Robert Couts of Holten Lake, Michigan, 1 nephew: Bill and wife Tabitha Stejskal of Elk City, Oklahoma and their 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as a host of longtime friends and neighbors.
