Janet Olene "Jan" (Schutes) Cantrell
June 7, 1948 ~ May 11, 2021

Janet "Jan" Olene Cantrell, 72, passed away peacefully on May, 11, 2021. She was the wife of Robert "Bob" Cantrell. They married on August 28, 1971 and shared 43 years of marriage together before Bob's death in October 2014.

Born in Hinton, Oklahoma on June 7, 1948 to David "Skeeter" and Ugie Schutes. She attended Weatherford Public Schools. Jan was a hairstylist and bank teller among other jobs throughout her life.

Jan and Bob were members of The Church of Christ.

Jan loved to fish, working in her yard and loved being outdoors with her family. Jan was a huge sports fan and always watched Thunder basketball and supported whatever team her grandkids were playing for or coaching.

Jan is survived by her daughter, Richelle Miller, son, Dusty Cantrell and wife JJ, all of Dewey, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren; Cody Cantrell and wife Leighann, Nathan Miller, Ryleigh Miller, Ellie Cantrell, Caden Cantrell and Jancie Cantrell. One great-grandchild, Keller Lee Cantrell. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Jan is also survived by two siblings; Delvin Schutes and wife Paulette and Tricia Ray.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister, Lavonne Schutes.

There will be a family graveside at a later date.
