Eddie Ray Cann Sr. was born on November 20, 1958 to Ronnie and Rosalee (Swafford) Cann in Pryor, Oklahoma. He departed this life on June 22, 2026 at the age of 67 years.
Eddie was a lifetime resident of Mayes County. He grew up and attended school in Salina, graduating from Salina High School in 1976. When he was only 13 years old, he met the love of his life, Rhonda Gay. They later married and had two children, Eddie Jr. and Angeliqua. Eddie was a self-employed contractor for many years.
He loved the outdoors; he loved to hunt and fish. He also loved playing pranks and being a jokester, he could always make you laugh. He had the biggest heart and was always very giving to others, especially those he loved. Eddie was a devoted father and grandfather and his family will miss him greatly.
He is survived by his children, Eddie Ray Cann Jr. (Aileen) and Angeliqua Watt (Paul); one sister Vicki Scott; eight grandchildren, Ronnie, River, Raini, Rayven, Rally, JP, Jewel and Haylee; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rhonda Gay Cann; brother David Trent; three sisters, Ronda Cann, Joyce Cann and Carolyn Cann and one nephew CJ Waller.
