Jimmy Dale Canfield
June 1, 1960 ~ October 18, 2021 (age 61)

Jimmy Dale Canfield, age 61 of Tecumseh, OK passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at his home.

He was born June 1, 1960 in Norman, OK to Alfred and Joyce (Brinson) Canfield.

Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Maud, OK.

He attended Maud Schools and graduated from Maud High School with the Class of 1978.

Jimmy worked for General Motors for 36 years until his retirement in 2015. The most important things to Jimmy was his family, working on the family farm in Maud and providing for his children. His grandchildren was his focal point in life. He also loved to go to a different high school football game every week.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 sister, Rosemary Clark.

Those left with his memories are 1 daughter, Jennifer Canfield and Devin Sellers of Oklahoma City; 1 son, Justin Canfield and Brianna Smith of Moore, OK; 2 grandchildren, Jocelyn and Jace Canfield; 2 sisters, Lucinda and Glenn Jordan and Elizabeth and James Smith, all of Maud, OK; 1 brother, Emmitt and Rita Canfield of Norman, OK; many nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Glen Williams of Trinity Baptist Church, Maud, OK officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
