Weston Wayne Campbell, 58, passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.
Wes was born Nov. 15, 1954, in Aurora, Colo., to Alvin Wayne Campbell and Rawline Leah Robbins. He grew up in the area and graduated from Owasso High School in 1973, and attended East Texas State University.
He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Jean Wilcox, on Feb. 18, 1978, in Lahoma, Okla.
Wes worked for Nordam as a leadman for the past 23 years.
Wes enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, driving his corvette, but most of all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, dad and papa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His surviving relatives include his wife, Elizabeth Campbell of Glenpool; children, Tiffiny and Brandon McConnell of Florida, Samuel Campbell and Madison Perry of Tulsa, Dustin Campbell of Tulsa, and Little Wes of Glenpool; grandchildren, Anna, Laura and Jacob McConnell of Florida; siblings, Debra and Mark McDole of Glenpool, and Kenny Campbell of Winchester; his beloved extended family, Bill and Trisha Berry of Garber, Normlyn Hanes of Colorado, and Sherman and Norma Wilcox of Enid; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral service 1 p.m. today, Oct. 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Main and Broadway, Glenpool, Okla. Rev. Brett Land will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt�s Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
