Robert Nute Campbell, 92, of Midwest City, OK passed away October 3, 2009. He was born, the youngest of fifteen children, on October 14, 1916 near Wetumka, Oklahoma to William and Cassie (Wallace) Campbell.
Nute married Imogene Smith on November 23, 1938 in Holdenville, OK.
Nute served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He worked the majority of his life as a welder and even taught welding at OSU Extension in Oklahoma City.
Nute was preceded in death by: a son, Robert Gene; daughter, Kathryn Sue; his parents and 13 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 71 years, Imogene Campbell; daughter, Pat Bratcher and her husband Larry; son, Jim Campbell and his wife Diane; sister, Ramath Purtell of Belton, TX; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
