March 29, 1963 ~ July 15, 2019

The memorial service for Jay Dee Campbell will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gail Edmison officiating.

Jay was born March 29, 1963 in Oklahoma City and adopted in infancy to Melton Rex and Cleta (Brandon) Campbell and passed away suddenly July 15, 2019 in Enid.

Jay attended schools in Hunter until the family moved to Breckenridge before his senior year. In 1981, he graduated from Garber. Jay attended tech school and became an auto mechanic, a trade he continued until his death.

At a young age, Jay was baptized in the Methodist Church. He married Ilene but they later divorced. Jay loved to play guitar and was part of a local band. He even was skilled in making guitars.

He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Peggy Howard.

Jay is survived by his father, Rex; nephew, Kyle Howard, several cousins and numerous extended family.

Memorials can be given through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
