Randy Cameron, 73, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at his home in Guthrie, OK. He was born to Curt and Viola Cameron on August 24, 1944 in Bluford, Illinois.
Randy was raised in Illinois along with his brother, Tony Cameron and his sister, Katheryn Pepple. He enjoyed his childhood with his musical family and started singing and playing the guitar at a young age. He still loved to play and sing gospel and country music for his many friends he made in Guthrie for the past 30 years.
Randy married Linda Ewing in Guthrie where they made their home for the last 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, Rodney, and one son, Donnie.
Randy is survived by his wife, Linda and his children, Ronnie Cameron (Tory), Lisa Hulsey (Richard), Dave Cameron, Denise Cameron, and Marty McPyer. He is also survived by his step-sons, Steve Thomason and John Thomason (Desiree) and 14 grandchildren.
Randy was a hardworking, old school, professional truck driver and a loving devoted husband. He loved the Lord and showed this by the way he treated his family and friends throughout his life.
The family sends their deep appreciation to Companion Hospice.
There will not be a memorial service at this time.??
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
