Francisco Alaniz Cameron


June 21, 1983 ~ July 27, 2014

Francisco Alaniz Cameron, 31 , of Lawton, was born June 21, 1983 in Phoenix, Arizona to Fernando Araiza who resides in Phoenix, Arizona & Ramona Alaniz Cameron of Rowlett, Texas. He passed away at his home in Lawton on the morning of July 27, 2014.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 10am-8pm and Friday, August 8, 2014 from 10am-8pm. Funeral services with full military honors will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00am in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel.

Francisco graduated from Rockwall High School in 2001. He enlisted in the United States Army in 2001 and served two terms in Iraq, one in Korea, and one in UAE. He received many accolades while in the Army. During his deployments he also achieved an Associate's Degree in Arts from Pierce College and was working towards his Bachelor's Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Oregon State University

He married his wife Judith C. Cameron on March 22, 2012 in Lawton.

Francisco enjoyed spending time with family, football, mixed martial arts, fishing, working out, horticulture, visiting the zoo, traveling, watching the newest movies and cooking shows.

He is survived by his wife Judith Cameron of Lawton; daughters, Calista Cameron of Lawton and Faith Herring of Denton, Texas; his mother, Ramona Cameron of Rowlett, Texas; his father, Fernando Araiza of Phoenix, Arizona; siblings, Priscilla Flores of Phoenix, Arizona and Carlos Cameron of Athens, TX; nieces and nephews, Miguel Flores, of the UK (Air Force), Christian Araiza of Phoenix, AZ, Stephen Flores in Phoenix, AZ, Elvia Araiza of Phoenix, AZ and Elizabeth Flores of Phoenix, AZ. He also has numerous extended family members and friends.
