Memorial services for Steven Wayne Calvert, of Ramona, were held Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Jerred Kubalek officiated.
Steven was born July 27, 1965 in Tulsa, OK to Neal Wayne and Leslie Jane (Mitchell) Calvert. He passed away August 22, 2011 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 46.
Steven was once an auto mechanic and he was very good at it because he loved it. He also worked as a truck driver. One of his favorite hobbies was building model cars and working with leather and making belts.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Calvert of Princeton, TX; daughter, Lisa Calvert of Princeton, TX; grandson, Ethan Michael Scott Williams; sisters, Julie Holmquest and husband Ron, and Janelle Striplin and husband David; brother-in-law, Clayton Bradfield, Jr.; aunt, Mary Jane Calvert; uncles, Errol Calvert, and Terry Crofford; cousins, Errol, Bryan, Mike, Chrstine, and Shawnda; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal Calvert and Leslie Calvert-Petty; and grandparents, Mary Jane and Garvin Crofford.
