Shaun Paul Callahan

Shaun Paul Callahan
February 10, 1978 ~ January 28, 2025

Shaun Paul Callahan, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the age of 46. Shaun was born on February 10, 1978, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was the son of Ronald Lee and Ada Jane (Cagle) Callahan. Shaun grew up in Prague, attended Prague Schools, and graduated from Prague High School in 1996. He went on to attend East Central University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Shaun married Elizabeth Nichole Hawkins on September 18, 2010 and the couple made their home in Prague. Shaun loved traveling with his wife and was unshakably devoted to her. He was a loving son and brother, a dedicated man who truly believed family was most important. Shaun's father Ron put a pipe wrench in his hand as soon as he could walk and he became an exceptional master plumber for Ron's business, Frontier Plumbing. Shaun was also an accomplished businessman, excelling in the residential rental management company he built. While known for his business savvy and being incredibly driven, his compassionate, tender heart was always evident in both personal and business dealings. He had a giving heart and spirit. Shaun had a way of seeing the world through other’s eyes and finding a way to help. The great conversationalist, Shaun was always eager for an array of topics in a marathon conversation.

Shaun was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Cagle and Harry and Modell Callahan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of more than 14 years, Elizabeth Nichole Callahan; his parents, Ron and Jane Callahan; two brothers; Corey Lee Callahan and his wife, Jamie Sue and John Mark Callahan; his nieces and nephew, Kori Jade and Lola Flower, and Paris Kyncaide, and an extended host of family and friends. Shaun would want those affected by this tragedy to learn something from it for their own lives by surrendering to the love of Jesus.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalms 34:18

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die.”

John 11:25-26
