Donald Wayne "Dicky" Callahan

November 5, 1954 ~ May 25, 2002

Donald "Dicky" Wayne Callahan, 47, Anadarko resident passed away Saturday, May 25, 2002 at his home. Dicky was born to Dick Callahan and Marie Reddin on November 5, 1954 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Anadarko High School in 1973.

He married Penny Houtz on October 1, 1999 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Dicky was currently employed by Patterson Drilling as a Tool Pusher.

Survivors include: Wife, Penny Callahan of the home; 3 daughters: Candi Williams and husband Greg of Ft. Cobb, OK, Crystal Newton and husband Steve of Anadarko, Cassidy Callahan of Anadarko; 1 stepson: Jay Koehler of Cyril, OK; 4 Granddaughters;1 Sister: Sherry Mears and husband Steve of Oklahoma City, OK: 2 stepbrothers: Rick Zornes of Stuttgart, AR and George Zornes of Concord, AR; 1 Stepsister: Kathy Treat of Alexander, AR; 2 Nephews: Jimmy Nixon of Anadarko, Richard Mears of Oklahoma City, Donald Mears of Oklahoma City; 1 Niece: Amy Liles of Anadarko; 2 Great Nephews: James Evan Nixon of Emporia, KS and Dayton Moser of Anadarko; Stepfather: John Tilley of Anadarko; Stepmother: Virginia Callahan of Concord, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002 at Squaretop Baptist Church, Anadarko with Rev. Bryan Doughty officiating.

Under the direction of the Smith-Hackney Funeral Home, Anadarko.
