Neva Jean Calhoun, 77, of Kiowa, Kansas, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Kiowa District Manor, Kiowa, Kansas.
She was born on July 2, 1943, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of Robert Woods King and Cordelia Grace (Walker) King.
Neva was a saw operator for Motorola and was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by four children, Carol (Joseph) Maas (of Kiowa, Kansas), Teresa Achenbach (of Kiowa, Kansas), John Calhoun Jr. (Kristen) of Arizona, and Donna (Jeff) Bagnell (of Anthony, Kansas); 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen (Don) Light of Virginia.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Calhoun Sr .; and two sisters, Roberta Webb and Myrna May.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October, 24, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Kiowa, Kansas.
