Tony Franklin Caldwell was born December 22, 1957, to Charles and Mary Caldwell in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed from this life August 21, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.
Tony lived in California, New Orleans eventually settling down in Waukomis, Oklahoma and later relocating to Enid, Oklahoma.
He lived a full and adventurous life.
Tony spent many of his young adult years as the first mate on a river boat in New Orleans.
Tony made his move back to Oklahoma and worked over 20 years at his father’s business, Alvin’s Wrecker Service. He was a great mechanic, wrecker driver and self- proclaimed MacGyver.
He loved to go hiking and camping. Spending many weekends on the lakes, rivers and creeks throughout Oklahoma. One of his favorites being Turkey Creek.
Tony was a lifelong musician and loved to play his guitar by candlelight.
Tony is survived by his siblings, Kimberly Bennett and husband Robert, of Enid, Oklahoma; Amanda Chenausky and husband Josh, of Texas; Thomas Boese of Luther, Oklahoma; Louise Huskey and husband Kenny of California. Numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend of many years Timothy Hammons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mary Boese, Biological Father Charles Caldwell. Brothers, Ronnie Caldwell, Terry Caldwell and Marty Boese.
