Linda Fay Caldwell was born March 1, 1943, in Depew, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Delphia Jackson. She passed from this life on April 21, 2026, at the age of 83.
Linda attended Depew Public Schools and carried the values of her upbringing throughout her life. She had a natural gift for creativity and enjoyed doing crafts, decorating her home, and restoring furniture with care and imagination. She was also known for being an exceptional cook, preparing meals that brought her family together and made everyone feel welcome. Linda loved to travel and see new places, and she approached life with curiosity and gratitude.
A devoted Christian, Linda lived her faith with quiet strength and sincerity. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family. Her kindness, warmth, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her three children: Sharon Vallance, Shirley Baker, and James Lee; three siblings: Barbara Collins, David Jackson, and Diane Graham; seven grandchildren; and twelve great‑grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Lenora, Janie, and Pat; and one brother, Bill.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 1:00PM, Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Hutchins Maples Matherly Funeral Chapel.
